Armity A. Simon, M.D.

Dr. Armity Simon is a Board Certified OB/GYN and has been practicing in Arizona past 17 years. She grew up in the Midwestern United States and went to medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine. She was chief resident during her residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. Armity and her husband has three teenage children. Her time away from the office and her patients is spent with her family and revolves around her children's schedules and her charity work. She understands the demands of parenthood and a profession and would commit both all over again. She loves to deliver babies and considers all those babies and their parent's part of our large extended family.

Dr. Simon specializes in all aspects of women's healthcare, Obstetrics, High Risk Obstetrics, Gynecology, menopause issue, gynecological surgeries including minimally invasive procedures and state of the art surgical treatments.


Ana Amato, CNM, NP

Ana Amato has recently joined our practice. Ana grew up in Florida and received a Bachelor of Science is Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida in 1987 and 1994 respectively. Ana completed the nurse-midwifery program in 1991 and has been in practice since then. Although Ana retired from delivering babies in 2006, she continues to provide obstetric and gynecologic care to women. Ana moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 1994, where she resides with her husband and son. Her interests include reading, hiking and traveling. She is certified by the American College of Nurse-Midwives.


Cynthia Ayoub, RN, MSN, WHNP-BC

Women's health has become an integral part for the women of Cyndi's family. Cyndi's mother is a Certified Nurse Midwife and her sister is an ultrasound technician for an OB/GYN office. Cyndi began her career in women's health in 2001. She always knew that she would obtain her master's and become a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She enjoys working with women from different cultures and especially the Hispanic population here in Arizona. After working with new mothers and babies in Couplet Care, Cyndi decided that she wanted a longer more established relationship. Cyndi is a native Arizonan and completed both her bachelor's and master's degrees at ASU. She lives in Chandler with her husband and two children. She feels her personal experiences as a women's health patient drive her to provide the highest quality of individualize healthcare to women and their families.


Kari Mau, RNC, MS WHNP

Kari graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's in science- nursing in 1996. She worked as an ICU and labor and delivery nurse in Houston, TX until 1999 when she moved to the Phoenix area. She continued to work as a labor and delivery nurse while obtaining her master's of science from Arizona State University in 2002. Since 2002, she has been working as a women's health nurse practitioner at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea. This past year, she completed her doctorate of nursing practice at Arizona State University. Kari enjoys working with women and their families, and has a passion for patient and family education and research to improve patient care. In her free time, Kari loves to spend time with her young children and her husband. She enjoys running and spending time outdoors as well as cooking for her family and friends.
